Visitation for offenders is held on the 2nd and 4th Sunday of every month from the hours of 11:30A.M. – 12:30P.M. You are required to contact the Humphreys county jail on the Saturday before visitation to receive the designated time to visit the offender you wish to see. No minor children ages 11 and under are allowed inside the Humphreys county jail, must be 12 years of age and older. All minor children, 12-17 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. No more than 3  persons (including children) will be permitted to visit an offender at one time.

At all times while on the grounds of the Humphreys county jail, a visitor is subject to search of his person, vehicle, personal property, or any/all items on may have in his possession, guns, knives, ammunition, alcohol, drugs, cigarettes, lighters, cell phones or any instrument or tool that may be used as a weapon, or any other item declared by the Humphreys County Sheriff’s Department to be contraband are strictly forbidden.

Contraband will be confiscated and violators will be prosecuted.

Visitors are prohibited from taking personal property or articles of any kind into the jail. 
The Humphreys County Sheriff’s Department/Jail will not be responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal possessions belonging to visitors while they are in or on the grounds of the Humphreys county jail.

 Jail Administrator, Melody Jones: Ms. Jones started working at the County Jail in October of  2013 under the current Sheriff, J.D. "Bubba" Roseman. Ms. Jones duties at the Humphreys County Jail includes the daily operation of overseeing all of the Inmates housed in the facility. Ms. Jones was given the title of Jail Administrator in 2015, by Sheriff, J.D. "Bubba" Roseman and Chief Deputy, Darrin D. Allen.
