HUMPHREYS COUNTY INMATE COMMISSARY ACCOUNT

WAYS TO DEPOSIT TO RESIDENT’S CANTEEN ACCOUNT

  1. CREDIT/DEBIT CARD DEPOSITS: Go online to www.commissarydeposit.com and follow the online instructions. A valid Credit or debit card is required. Once the depositor receives a successful transaction receipt the money is available to the Resident. (Credit Card processing/service charges apply based on amount of deposit and will be added to the total amount of the transaction. (Example: $10.00 deposit + $12.25 charge to credit card and resident will receive $10.00).
  2. CASH DEPOSITS: Go online to www.commissarydeposit.com and click the orange “deposit cash” icon on the right hand side of the screen. Follow the steps to locate the resident who will be receiving the money you want to deposit. Once all the location steps are complete, there will be a page that you print or copy the information from. PRINT OR COPY THE INFORMATION. You will need this information at the retail location. Click the blue link and it will provide a map and a search bar for you to enter your address then it will indicate the participating retailers with a blue icon. Visit the retailer of your choice and provide them with the information that you printed or copied. There will be a small handling charge added to the amount you want to deposit. Once the transaction is complete and you are given a receipt, the money will be posted to the resident’s account within one hour
  3. MAIL A U.S. POSTAL SERVICE MONEY ORDER TO:

            INMATE ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT FUND

            Attn: HUMPHREYS COUNTY

The following must be completed and have a Money Order posted using this method:

      1.  Money Order must be made payable to “Inmate Account Management Fund”.

           Money Orders not made payable as instructed WILL BE DESTROYED. No

           Money Orders will be returned to sender. Must be a U.S. Postal Money Order.

 

      2.  The Resident’s Full Name and ID Number must be printed on the Money Order.

           Illegible Money Orders WILL BE DESTROYED.

 

      3.  The Sender’s Contact Information must be completed in full.

 

      4.  There will be a $1.00 processing charge deducted from the account sent. (Example:

           $10.00 Money Order means resident receives $9.00 on the account).

 

     5.   All valid Money Orders will be posted to a Resident’s Account and any Release of

           Funds will be generated by the facility.

 

      6.  The Processing Center WILL NOT return any Money Order to the Sender. Follow

           the above instructions to insure a deposit to the Resident’s Account.

 

                  BE SURE TO FOLLOW THE ABOVE INSTRUCTIONS TO AVOID DELAY OF FUNDS

INMATE VISITATION:  

Visitation for offenders is held on the 2nd and 4th Sunday of every month from the hours of 11:30A.M. – 12:30P.M. You are required to contact the Humphreys county jail on the Saturday before visitation to receive the designated time to visit the offender you wish to see. No minor children ages 11_ and _under_ are allowed inside the Humphreys county jail, must be 12 years of age and older. All minor children, 12-17 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. No more than _3_ persons (including children) will be permitted to visit an offender at one time.

           

At all times while on the grounds of the Humphreys county jail, a visitor is subject to search of his person, vehicle, personal property, or any/all items one may have in his possession. Guns, knives, ammunition, alcohol, drugs, cigarettes, lighters, cell phones or any instrument or tool that may be used as a weapon, or any other item declared by the Humphreys County Sheriff’s Department to be contraband are strictly forbidden. Contraband will be confiscated and violators will be prosecuted. Visitors are prohibited from taking personal property or articles of any kind into the jail.

 

The Humphreys County Sheriff’s Department/Jail will not be responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal possessions belonging to visitors while they are in or on the grounds of the Humphreys county jail.

No hip huggers, cutoffs, jogging shorts or biking shorts

Slits will not extend above the knee when seated

Shoes/tennis shoes must be worn

No sheer clothing

Under shorts will be worn
